A picture of the assembled wing is shown below. This part is the middle section. It has a 500mm lenght. On each side a 250mm section will be added. The total wingspan is then 1000mm. To construct this section of the wing, 12 individual root ribs must be made out of balsa. I used 2mm balsa wood to make these ribs. Both tip sections, each 240mm long (exclusive winglet) consist out of 5 ribs each. The pictures below show a step by step approach to built the complete wing. Where needed more details are added to the pictures. Clingwrap covers the drawing to prevent glue on it.
